Yearly recap - sure thing! This time I spent 85 days on the road and managed to make it to Africa three times, which makes me ridiculously happy. One of those trips was done in a 4x4, too. Moreover, I did an absolutely amazing and turbo-intense run all the way to the Barents Sea, crossing the whole of Finland. The rest of the trips were more weekend-style. Funny thing is, I barely even fire up the bike anymore just to ride around close to home.
Alright, here are some numbers: - 85 days on the road, - 72 bivouacs, - 18,799 km on Greta (and she smashed 100,000 km total this year!), - 6,436 km on Karl
And that's not all, two exciting machines joined the garage. The mighty Honda XR400R will serve as my local youngtimer, while the Suzuki DR650E will bravely take on the roads of Africa!
