"My design is completely innovative, I've patented it, for sure there is no such power plant anywhere in the world..."
Józef Antos was a locksmith from Rębielice Królewskie, in 1978 he decided to build the largest and the best windmill in Europe. He spent the next 25 years of his life on it. He believed that his construction would be capable of, unlike the classic 3-blade windmills, to supply electricity even at a wind speed of 2 m/s. It was to be a solution for cheap energy and prosperity in the future. The entire structure weighs 240 tons and is over 53 meters high, the turbine itself, with a diameter of 33 meters, consists of 280 blades. Unfortunately, the constructor died before he equipped the windmill with a suitable turbine. We decided to see this engineering creature with our own eyes. By the way, we discovered an incredibly attractive region - Wyżyna Wieluńska. This is the place where tourist trails end and their place is taken over by completely anonymous sand paths stretching along the wild banks of the Warta River. Lovely, my recommendation!
