We are back, Only for Transit 2021 is over and was a great trip. Kosovo, Albania are fascinating, as always. However, not everything went exactly to the plan....
We've covered quite a lot of the previously prepared route, including the entire TET Albania. We discovered several places that can be called a dirtbike paradise, usually located at 2000m above sea level. Few times we were blocked by snow.
My companion was a quite odd bunch of off-road madmen. They are amazing people, interested in shredding some dirt, perfect views and remarkable camping spots. We created an unforgettable spirit together. Riding in such a large group was a challenge and a learning experience by itself. I usually ride with a maximum of 2-3 people or I am a solo rider.
It was not an easy trip. That is why it was so good! It was not easy either in terms of being physically demanding, rough terrain and weather conditions, or because of the breakdowns that plagued us. At the very end the worst one happened, my own :-) Greta came home proudly, strapped with transportation belts.
